Vaccinations

The day of our appointments for the flu and Covid vaccinations turned out to be the day of the wildest weather we've had for a long while!  The ferries were cancelled and although the barriers were open, they were being reviewed at 10am, so could well be closed then.

Our appointments were at 9.30am so we got in good time in case we could be seen a bit early. Unfortunately, the centre didn't open until 9.30, but we were quickly seen and jagged, one in each arm, and abandoning all thoughts of getting any messages, we dashed back home. 

Lucky that we did as the barriers closed just after we crossed them and didn't open again until 4.30pm! A long time to be stuck in the town. When the weather is bad, we always take a book each with us, and Lottie, obviously, just in case it happens!
