AFTER THE STORM

A very windy but sunny today after yesterday's storm.  Had a busy morning catching up on photography stuff.  Then

I then went for a walk around the block with G.  We popped into our little woods, which is so lovely to have close by and it was lovely and sheltered in there.  No much to see except twigs and debris thougu, loads of beech nuts underfoot too.  There is a lovely Horse Chestnut Tree up the road from us and I picked up 3 perfect conkers, already de-shelled due to the winds.  

Good job I don't wear a wig, but I must have looked even more of a fright than normal my hair was whipping around my head like crazy!!!
