Some beautiful Conkers.

The Feast Day of Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus. Also called St Theresa of Lisieux.
As the weather was merciful to us here today and there was a time of wind and sunshine, we went to Great Harwood for a walk and exercise. We visited the area near a green space where they play football, to find and bring home some beautiful shiny conkers. I photographed some for this blipfoto.The wind had recently swept from the trees several conkers, some large and some still in their casements.
The starlings have been eager to eat from the bird feeder pole in our small garden, which is a great joy to see.
