The Tailwalker

Today marked the 18th anniversary of Parkrun and also the first birthday of Charlton Parkrun. I was a volunteer again (my 27th time - I've now volunteered more times than I have run parkrun), being the event photographer briefed with catching some of the party spirit - balloons, party hats, cake, our first official ParkWalk, and a tailwalker sporting a tail! (all now on the Charlton parkrun Flickr group). 239 finishers today - up on previous weeks and boosted by people visiting for the London Marathon tomorrow.

Got out for a run myself earlier in the morning - a 10km easy jog around north Greenwich. After parkrun, did my usual trip to Brothers Bakery for an Americano and some pastries to take home.
