Not Such a Quick Blip

First day back home, & the usual clearing up, washing etc. Needed a quick Blip, & the Crataegus prunifolia in the back corner was looking amazing, so grabbed the camera, popped the 35mm lens on it for some reason (it's always good with bright colours but I'm not really sure it's any better than the lens I had on already!) & went forth to grab a quick shot. I hadn't taken into account how waxy the surfaces of the leaves were & was getting too many very shiny patches, so then went back to find a polarising filter & spent ages experimenting with angles to reduce the glare & capture the colours better (& trying to catch the branches between gusts of wind - but at least the washing dried quickly in the sunshine & wind today!}
