Gone fishin’

Large parts of the river in our village are covered in dense pondweed, caused by the heatwave. Not sure I’d fancy either fishing or being a duck right now, it’s all a bit grim (see extra) while also being curious.
The first day of October has been warm and mostly sunny, until about 4. I did lots of plant-shifting in the never ending quest to get the garden (nearly) right.
