Feisty

We went around checking the homes of neighbors who are out of town and asked if we would. One of the houses got wet last night. Only the room on the back of the house that is lower then the rest of the house. It is a party room. When I walked around the yard I found this tiny Eastern mud turtle on the driveway. I picked it up to put it in the grass and wouldn't you know it bit me! They have a strong jaw even at that age, No harm, just a sharp pinch really but still! Hubby is holding it here very gingerly! The tide returned tonight a little lower then this am. (see extra) Ian was good to us here on the beach. Very thankful.
