The earth is warming

I spent an hour in the vegetable garden this morning, weeding ,sowing dwarf beans, thinning carrots etc and came in with the makings of a very tasty salad.
DrD's son and daughter-in-law dropped in late morning for a cuppa and chat . I whipped up some hummus to go on crackers. Always a delight to see them and have a catchup. A couple of hours later we sent them off with fresh lettuce, carrots, cabbage and parsley from the garden and a bag full of limes for Merv's corona.
