A Spring afternoon
The arrogance of the current leader (we are told) in the polls for Mayor of Auckland is well known to me from when he was the (appointed by the National Party Government in the 1990s) Chairman of the Auckland Hospital and Health Services Board. He made it clear that he did not believe that clinicians' views had any value at all. In many interviews and talks he has belittle his opposition, shown himself to be misogynistic in his description of the Prime Minister, and recently told an interviewer that he intends to pin photos of a journalist he doesn't like in the urinals so that he can be peed on.
Why anyone would want such a man to be mayor is beyond me.
Election day is 08 October.
