Great film tonight at the Southern Circuit Indie Film series. Hazing. About college hazing practices. Very thought provoking and a Q&A with the film maker.

Here's a link to the filmmaker. He was a fraternity member himself and it was only in his later years that he questioned why he or anyone would subject themselves to this and why was it necessary.  If you're interested apparently it is available on PBS.org until December.
