Throw, jump, catch
This weekend sees my university hosting the annual Roses sporting tournament between York and Lancaster. The rivalry dates back to the Wars of the Roses between 1455 and 1487. Instead of bows and arrows the grudge is now worked out with balls and sticks so I guess not too much as changed!
Tonight was the opening ceremony which ended with the 1st XV rugby match being played. York won 57-14 which was an amazing result as people thought it was going to be much closer. The atmosphere was brilliant and it was worth standing in the cold.
