Lilies beside the water….

It is a bit of an optical illusion in that the water in the pictured Mill Stream looks dark and discolored. In fact the water is clean and clear. The low light at the time of day, early morning, added to the illusion. The lilies are happily growing amongst the ruins of an old flour mill. The stream runs into the nearby Taylor River, which, interestingly, is very discolored due to southeast rain over the last day or so. We’ve had another day to stay indoors with drizzle, low cloud and a very cold breeze. It’s hardly spring weather.
