Goldfinch

at least I think it is! Unusual markings so maybe a juvenile?! And it's been a day of  Goldfinch sightings in the garden  - have moved a bird feeder this afternoon and the first new visitor was a Goldfinch so am glad they approve of the new position!

Rain was forecast for today so, of course, we've had wall to wall sunshine! It's felt like Summer again and I even sat reading in the garden scoffing an ice lolly!!  Needed it after a morning of more garden pruning, so a restful afternoon was very much appreciated!
