The Beautiful Port city of Vallarta
My family and I went on a zip line in the jungles about an hour drive from this location where our cruise ship was at port. This picture is actually taken on the ship's aft deck. The layers of mountains created a spectacular back drop. We got to see quite a bit of the city on our drive into the mountains. Towards the jungle/mountain the city changed from pueblo housing and established businesses to impoverished communities that just built huts out of tin and wood. They had clothes hanging to dry and motorcycles missing seats or beat up cars. We drove past a prison and roadside markets. It was really interesting and made me appreciate the carpet and tile floors under foot at home. After the whole journey, the zip line was by far the funnest thing I've ever done.
