Forgotten

Today’s walk was up to the Hopetoun monument and it was stunningly clear. On the way up I notice a pair of distinctive lumps in a wall which turned out to be an old, forgotten gate. Quite narrow so maybe not a field gate or a field for a pre-industrial time. I wonder who built it and who used it.
