More mulch destruction

I've been putting more branches in beds to stop animals digging my lovely mulch. 

It's so hard for them with the dry weather all summer, they're really struggling, but they cause a lot of damage looking for worms.

This bed was supposed to have rows of carrots as well as leeks but the constant disruption has meant carrot seedlings didn't get a chance to establish.
