Late Gifts

A local walk along the River Nidd. Quiet until we are well over half way round, and then there’s the otter, watching he/she play is such a joy. Montage in extras
Just round an out of the way corner  and we come on a conference of the birds, perhaps a dozen or so mandarins, we wondered what had happened to them, second extra.
And just as we are finishing our walk the kingfisher darts in front of us and rests close to the footbridge, I manage an indifferent photo, but it’s a lovely finale.
