Swedes

Possibly... Our accommodation this week is in another cottage on the same farm as a week ago. We had a bit of spare time this morning after putting the chicken into the slow cooker so explored the footpath into Spofforth. A couple of the fields are planted in what we think are swedes. They are probably a fodder crop for the sheep and cows. Extra shows some of the residents of the Old Rectory in the village.
