Racehorses

The bay and chestnut horses have the glebe field to themselves. They didn't take any notice as I walked through the field this morning. They're belonging to the racing training business of Nicky Richards.

I got talking to a couple of holidaymakers and it turned out they were staying at the place where I had my first shop 30 years ago. They remembered buying gems from me and even came looking for me when I had my shop in town between 2001 and 20014. The lady still has my jewellery.

It was pleasantly sunny today though I'm glad we've turned the heating back on, I'd forgotten how nice it was to have a warm towel at bathtime.
