Getting high to start the day

Postponed trip to the top of the Forth Bridge (supposed to have been during the weekend after the Queen died) took place this morning, and got lucky with the weather after the Friday and Saturday trips apparently got cancelled completely due to adverse weather.

All in aid of charity, the Prince's Trust, and just simply a trip to a massive platform at the top of one of the diamonds, then a walk on the grid walkway underneath the tracks. 

Stunning views, and really interesting experience, before a visit from friends for lunch and catch-up during the afternoon.

it has been something of a full-on and busy (long, starting with a board meeting on Friday) weekend.
