Waste

Sell By Dates must be the cause of so much waste. Understandable I suppose if you are going to eat it or drink it but flowers as well!
These were discarded to landfill by a supermarket but with permission rescued by an employee and given to me to pass on to Mrs S as she is an NHS Nurse.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with them and should they wilt and the petals start to drop away in a day or three then that will be a day or three’s worth of pleasure that they will have generated before finally being composted.

I managed only a couple of hours at the rugby club before heading home, just long enough to see more signs going up.

No rowing tonight, no cox’n and poor weather.
