Going Down

We were on the boat crabbing when the birds flew in and dove for fish nearby. I love watching the Brown Pelicans when they hover above the water and then quickly dive down for a fish. There must have been a school of small fish balling up in this area because all the birds were coming up with fish. 

We had a good day crabbing. Our grandson's friend never had crabbed or tasted crab before today. He hadn't even been on a boat before.  He was a strong help crabbing and loved the crab melt on English muffins. The crab pieces dipped in lemon/peppered butter are always a hit. 

Yesterday it was 80F and today was 60F, so it was feeling a lot colder today. The boys were going to take the hike to the top of the mountain trail behind our home because they wanted to take photos of the view but there was no view, too many low clouds. I don't think it rained here today but it looked as if it would all day. I don't mind the cooler weather.
