Taormina

Left Syracuse and headed for our next place Taormina. Decided on the way to go up Etna which you can drive quite far and then get the gondola up further. Unfortunately it had just stopped running as we arrived due to the wind, we did have a wander over to a couple of craters nearby. 
As we were early we drove along the bottom of Taormina which has a big beach area, very busy so glad we're up at the old town. Great accomodation with a roof terrace and balcony. A wander through the old town which has some great streets off.
