My favorite bend on the canal

It's not the only bend in the canal of course, but it is the one which tells me I am nearly home. This morning I multi-tasked in a way that is unusual. I filled up with petrol, did the tyre pressures, visited the bottle bank and did  a food shop. All in an hour- not bad! I'm getting myself ready for a journey in a fortnight, my first time out of Scotland for many years. Yellow Dog will be my taxi. (See extra shot.) He fondly remembers England as the country of his adolescence, although his genes, admittedly, are Japanese.
