another dahlia

I’ve done well for dahlias this year, they’re still full of flowers. This one opened a couple of days ago.
We had to take Ziggy to the vet this morning - he had another haematoma at the edge of his ear. He’s had about 5 altogether. They sometimes come up and disappear on their own but he’d had this one for a few days. He saw his favourite 2 vets - Monica and Tina - and they managed to drain it without him being anaesthetised. Plus of course he ate all their treats and managed to cause chaos in the rather quiet and reserved waiting room.
