Still blooming

I wrote about Nanny’s rose on 19 June and here she is still flowering in October.  She never gives up and I always chat to her as I walk under the pergola.

A more active day as P trimmed our huge bay tree.  He’s taken about a foot off the top and reduced the width but it’s still big so we will have to be more severe next year.  I assisted by picking up all the debris - a lot of bending so my back is sore now!!
