Vis-à-vis

Our bags were delivered right on schedule this morning at 8.30am and there was much rejoicing! We got everything unpacked, brought some things down to the storage locker and met our lovely concierge. He is Italian, from near Rome and a very warm and charming person.

I went for a run after that, mostly around parc André Citroen and along the quais. J organized some things for his bike and went out to his favourite Decathlon, at La Madeleine. I spent the afternoon setting things up for my first day tomorrow at the BnF and booking Ch's flight to come see us at Christmas -- very excited about that! J made us a delicious couscous with chickpeas and merguez for dinner.
