I had my routine screening mammogram today. I have 2 friends who had breast cancer diagnosed following this routine screen. 1st, 8 years ago (still clear) the 2nd just receiving treatment as I write.
Breast cancer affects men as well as women. If in doubt check it out. Please keep your routine screening appointments. Yes, it's briefly uncomfortable having your breast squashed between two metal plates but it's better to that being diagnosed the later stages.
