O' What A Beautiful Morning!

Well, a heck of a start to a great little day. 

A stunning sunrise greeted me today, and the day got better.

Mrs I and I have been to the council recycling centre to offload ten large bagfulls of garden waste produced yesterday when we started to clear away swathes of overgrown shrubbery, and grass cuttings. 

Then we registered at a local medical practise, before heading into Ludlow for a riverside lunch at Dinham Mill and Weir tea rooms.

This afternoon we had more time in the garden, clearing away weeds and placing pots and planters that we had brought with us from our old house. 

We started to discover yet more beautiful shrubs and plants that have been neglected, probably for years. 

The collage shows the sunrise over the Corvedale valley, and some of the planting that is being revealed in our larger than life garden.. 

Work in progress, but very positive signs going forward.
