Splash of scarlet...

on a gloomy rainy day! I hope my tuberous begonias will survive in WV until I get there. There are 30's in the forecast for the end of the week. I never thought about that when we left in September. At least I can save this one and my yellow one. I spent the day doing more mosaic tiling on the birdhouse for our neighbor. She is 88 today. I made a pot of Italian sausage soup for dinner. It hit the spot! 
Many thanks for all the stars and hearts on the little mud turtle Oct. 1. It really was cute and made the muddy flood waters seem a little bit easier to deal with.
