Poppies

Back in the office and load shedding kicked in at 10:00 so a colleague and I went to enjoy a cool drink at a local restaurant and whiled away the couple of hours until the power would be back.

It’s another hot day with tomorrow to be even hotter so it was nice to sit in the shade and admire the garden.

It ended as a bit of a frustrating day as we were all happy with the month end cash flow when “you are going to kill me” was uttered at my door. I forgot about this payment, only R78k!! Of course I didn’t kill her, but she certainly killed my mood. Thankfully she is due to retire early next year.
