Tomatillos and baked garlic
Two garden products that are not offering that many attractive uses. That being said, I decided to fry some garlic - as I have a lot- and to use it in soups, on toast and on roasts. The little green tomatillos will go into a gazpacho with a cucumber. That will be a first.
This is the whole harvest, as I broke the plant five weeks ago when I fell upon the pot.
I think this was a „kitchen day“, topped off with some cleaning up in the garden and a relaxing soap in the hot tub in the dark.
