2022 Sunday — Handrails & Fence

The construction guys were here at 7:25 this morning and ready to get started. They would be spreading the dark colored crushed sand that would later be tamped down with a machine.

Alfredo, the man who prepares the handrails and fencing, arrived about 9:00.

Lumber and the wire mesh for fence building are scattered throughout the yard, so we still resemble somewhat of a war zone, but we are definitely coming toward completion.

On Sundays the team only works until 2:00. After they left, Mercado stayed and enjoyed a cerveza with us and we laughed and talked and shared life.
