A Spring day in Rukuhia
A beautiful day here today and rather full too. I made a large lemon jelly with lemons from our tree first thing. We have my son and daughter -in -law and their 3 ravenous gorgeous teenage sons arriving on Thursday.
A few tidy up tasks upstairs, then down to the stitching cave where I spent an hour finishing off the first sleeve for Darcy's new jersey, then outside to mow the lawn. My goodness, Spring had made it rich green(fertiliser helped), rather long and very thick. It took me 3 hours on the ride on mower but it looks like a park now and all ready for our family.A late lunch at 2.30pm then a batch of orange and blueberry muffins into the oven with my lovely South Island grandsons in mind.
Very lazy , but super tasty quesadillas for tea!
The Prunus "Awanui" in our garden are looking just gorgeous today.
