Memorial to a friend

Only a few days ago arrived to my hometown and there take place, at the Modern Art Museum, a memorial for a friend. Alejandro tragically passed away last december. Depression is something we need to talk about, it exists. Also artist and musicians precariousness in this world. It shouldn't be that way.

Friends gathered for a whole day of short concerts, readings and visual arts performances to remember him. I had played two alto saxophone solo improvisation. There was a new generation of musicians that I am grateful to meet and I take it as an heritage from my friend.
We decided to meet the next weeks since I will be in Colombia to play together and do some recordings.
The music must go on!
