Daisy dance

The daisies are enjoying my lawn at the moment - too wet to mow so they can just get on with growing.  I have to confess, I do rather like daisies in the lawn.  Not everyone's cup of tea, I know, but I've always felt that if something settles itself into an environment and thrives, let it be.  I have a clause to this statement though - 'exceptions are permitted'.  I've called on this exception clause for the onion-weed like weeds that I've been trying to suffocate out of existence by piling up lawn clippings and weeds on them.........but still they push through :|

Enough! It was a day of office rationalisation.  Having bought a smaller desk yesterday, I have removed the larger one, set up the smaller one and taken some steps to 'reduce' whilst I'm in the mood to do so.  I'm not very good at this last bit though so whilst I'm feeling inspired I simply need to get on with it. 

The cold blast from the south is heading this way and whilst we may not get the single-figure highs expected further south, I'm still expecting to feel cold tomorrow.  I feel an indoorsy day with a fire and more reducing coming on.
