The Last Bees

And the last of the lavender too. I've made the decision to rip it all out this year and hopefully find someone to replace it next year.

We've had about three bees in the garden this morning, I've taken loads of images and this was the only one with sharp eyes.

In other news I have finally sorted out our Covid boosters. I decided to phone up and was told they were still doing the over 75s, but they did allow me to book. I couldn't get appointments though until the 23rd October, late afternoon. I tried the NHS booking system too (which are not supposed to use for some reason) and the available dates were even later. The nearest walk in centres that came up were Bath or Alcester. I've managed to book flu jabs for this week though, in the local chemist.

We are going again this year, on the 17th October. Always an interesting outing, as long as it isn't raining of course.
