The Chrispys v The Grim Strimmer

Interesting last 24 hours.

Watched a film called Help last night. It was about a young care worker in a care home during the Pandemic. Very compelling but scary to. Some chilling visual sequences. Not so much about the virus but the working conditions around it.

Having our morning coffee looking out onto the thicket when out pops a man in high res gear with a strimmer clearing the thicket that had grown around a newt fence. We were very concerned that the main thicket was going to be cut back. So off went emails threatening a sit in if the thicket was cut back further. Decision taken not to cut back any more so a victory enjoyed by us and at least one other resident of the thicket - see extra.
