Cookers

My cooking apple tree is at the bottom of the garden and is mostly in the shade. The apples are always late to ripen. Everyone else has already got their apples bottled, chutnied, frozen, cidered or stored in old tights and hanging from the spare bedroom door. Mine are still not quite ready to pick.
