More mushrooms

I have had a busy day at home, I am not sure how the day has gone by so quickly -  the car went in for a service, Xena was walked (and more mushrooms were found), I made lentil and tomato soup, a big pile of ironing was done, and I worked on images to be printed for the next camera club competitions. 

A few months ago someone in our neighbourhood decided it would be a good idea to have a ladies drinks evening at our local pub/restaurant. The pub is no longer open seven days a week (as they are still experiencing a shortage of staff since the pandemic), and as they are not open on Tuesdays they were more than willing to open for us tonight and for a fixed cost per head serve drinks and snacks. There will be 62 people attending! I only know a handful of people going, so I am not sure if I will stay very long but I thought I had better make an effort and go along. Some people in our neighbourhood are very nice, but judging from the comments on our Whatsapp group, some are just not my kind of people!! 

I enjoyed our camera club meeting last night, my images did okay. I am now in the advanced group and the standard is very high. My problem is not in producing a good enough image (well actually it is partly that), it is making sure I enter the right images into competitions, I always struggle to judge my own work and pick the best ones.
