Why is it the case that a good restful nights sleep can sometimes leave you feeling very logy the next day?

I’ve had another very quiet day working on my blanket. Slight excitement at lunchtime when Phin exerted his independence and ran away from me when we were playing with his tennis ball. He didn’t go far but found a squeaky ball under a hedge and then refused to come back to me. If it hadn’t been for another dog walker managing to catch him by the collar., I think I’d be there now!
