Rape Field, Hammerwich

I must thank orchid99 for suggesting a trip to an area just outside Lichfield. The Woodland Trust have acquired 62 hectares at Pipe Hall Farm and after following a suggested path I found my way there. As a result I have seen my first bluebells of the year. They are still to develop into the spectacular carpet I'm hoping for, but I have already mapped out a location to return to in a week or two.

I also came across my first flowering rape field, albeit it still has some growing to do. I was roadside but quickly got the caera out and was fortunate enough to have sunlight part illuminating the field.

I decided to have a bit of fun with the clouds in post processing.
