I had an asthma check up today.

Didn’t know they took blood for that…

Turns out it wasn’t an asthma check up it was a blood pressure check up.

I needed an asthma check up because they wouldn’t give me a new prescription because I hadn’t asked for a repeat of this for a year

I hadn’t asked for a repeat because they said at my last asthma check if ; if you had more than two a year then they would list you as ‘poorly controlled asthma’ and would do more tests .

So I didn’t order more than one a year .

But now they wouldn’t give me one. And this nurse was BP and not asthma .

I petted my lip and made me look angry and said ‘I’m a bit pissed about this’. And she looked at me and said ‘let me see what I can do.

And fifteen minutes later she had found someone who was qualified to watch me blow into a cardboard tube and hand me a prescription.
