Lunchtime view

Met Paul for lunch again - it’s nice to have some company.

We had a fire drill in the library this morning - unannounced of course. Library staff are expected to help clear the building so I was allocated the second floor to walk around to check that everyone has evacuated. I came across one student with headphones on - they were clearly very good sound cancelling headphones because the alarm is pretty loud, but I got his attention and asked him to leave. Quite scary to think that they wouldn’t have heard the alarm otherwise.
