Shenzhen: Dragon Claws?

The garden through the main gate of our compound. A pond (with fishies and froggies) is hidden by the trees. These stone sculptures always make me wonder but today I thought 'dragon claws' (as this is a family show).

All the more incredible when you consider this grassed, tree-ed, pond holding garden is a level above street level - below is the car-park for the complex. (The outdoor swimming pool is up two flights of escalators to the left, above the four-level shopping mall in our 'basement'). What a wonderland.
