Storm Front

And the temperature in Wellington dropped 7c in 30 minutes as it hit us this afternoon. We were completely home from the Wednesday walk with our friends at Churton Park by then but some hours later now, apart from a bit of rain not much else has happened but some passes in the South island are now closed by snow. 
This is unusually late in the year but not all that unusual with what is happening around the world with weather.
