Spot the odd one out
Correct - top left. We are now breeding penguins which know which way to look when crossing the road. The rest would be run over, unless of course they were in the UK.
I was trying to shoot the 13 Chabo bantam chicks but the light was difficult and they wouldn't sit still. The finch is one of a flock of at least 20 that live with us the whole year round, living off the chicken food. This one came to visit as I was photographing the chicks. If a bird flu scare broke out we would have to install very fine wire net - the law forbids any contact with wild birds. Hope tomorrow the sun will shine and it will be windstill. Then perhaps we can let them out on to grass.
Angie is over at LCS all day looking at the riding course (see yesterday). I went for a great long walk with the dogs over the yellow meadows, through streams and the final 15 minutes in the forest. Last Saturday Angie tried out a dog school with Luna which went very well. Wanted to go again today but the course was a seldom event. Perhaps next week.
