Waiting

for the call for my Covid booster at our local community hospital. After half an hour I was taken for “assessment” and the waited and waited! The nurse who came was excellent primarily because she had a great sense of humour. Her first word were “just let me find you” so I said “here I am!” Which led to several minutes of hilarity.

They are doing such a good job and I feel that anything we can do by way of encouragement and has to be a good thing. I always feel that shared humour may brighten their days.
