Seeing Red

The burning bush that provides privacy to our front door and patio is transitioning into a multi-red-hued feast for the eyes! We must enjoy these beautiful vibrant leaves because they’ll be gone by the end of the month. Our privacy, too, but that will be short lived too. Once snow flies our patio will be encircled like a white cave :) • Today didn’t turn out as expected. I had planned on mowing around the veggie garden but remnants of Ian brought unexpected drizzle and light showers. So I decided to bake instead! I tried a new muffin recipe: blueberry banana, which we’ll indulge in tomorrow morning • I also scheduled our booster shots for the end of the month. We wanted to stay with Moderna but since it’s in short supply locally, we decided being boosted was more important than waiting, especially with colder weather settling in, and holidays fast approaching • Take Good Care and Keep Joy in Your Heart!
