Teatime
Warm day. Before even setting out I'd swapped raincoat for light cagoule. Before reaching town I'd taken it off and shoved it my bike pannier. On arrival home had another clothes change into summer clothes. Ridiculously warm.
Readeasy student this afternoon online. We're reading The Snow Goosr by Paul Gallico. We've reached the sad part and thank goodness our cameras were off. I had tears in my eyes, it gets me every time. There's absolutely nothing mawkish in Gallico's excellent writing just a mere statement. The impact of which hits me as I get immersed in story in books or films.
if you're unfamiliar with the story, one of the characters helps rescue from Dunkirk. This sparked my curiosity. What parts of the UK did rescuing boats come from? It seems rescuers and their boats came from as far west as Cadgewith in Cornwall, east along the coast right up to Norfolk and Suffolk.
Bit more drawing this afternoon. Cashew nut and veg stirfry with noodles for dinner.
Fox came for his daily visit to eat the suet sprinkles.
Pleasant evening everyone.
